(tutorial) Anthro Inspired Tee - Wandering Wake

As an Anthro stalker, when I saw this tank
I fell in love.
It also was one I knew I could recreate with a tee refashion.
That is getting harder and harder to find.
SAD.

So I pulled out my tee stash, and got to work knocking off the original!
:)

If this knock-off appeals to you... here is how to make one for yourself!
(It is really easy!)
Materials needed:
2 Tees OR 1 Tee and some jersey fabric
iron, scissors, matching thread

  3. This looks so cute! I'm just getting into sewing more, and I just refashioned a dress, but I really want to get into it more. And this one looks "easy" enough.

How long were your lengths of material, before you pleated them?

  7. Aimee,
After sewing my strips together, the first one was about 28" the second 42" and the third 28".
Then I had to trim/fold under as needed. Hope that helps!
