So I know you are anxiously waiting to see what I did with
In my fabric stash, I had some cute floral prints, and was able to cut out that fun huge flower for applique!
Kept it simple on the skirt...just some matching ric rac so she could wear the skirt with anything.
This one was more subtle...

So I know this isn't reinventing the wheel,
but a few minutes of embellishing can really go a LONG way.

this is super cool! Where do you get the fabric??
ReplyDeleteDuh...never mind the above question - I read it wrong. You iron the heat and bond onto your fabric. got it. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou have some awesome ideas! I will definitely have to check back and make some of these!

Do you have any problems with fraying? I have some valentine shirts I made for my girls and i"m deathly afraid to wash them because I'm afraid they will fray. I hand washed them and let them dry overnight, then stuck it in the dry to loosen up the wrinkles...it came out okay but I definitely won't be washing them on a regular basis!
