(eyeCandy) Reader Projects

I was super excited this week when 2 of you emailed me photos of projects you made with our tutorials!

I keep meaning to get a flickr group going but haven't yet....

But we LOVE to see your projects.

I started an email conversation with Lydia, who is 14.  She was making the skirt part of the Three Part Harmony Dress.  I started sewing when I was 15, so it was awesome to see someone that young who likes to sew! 

Here is her skirt:

I love how it turned out!  Isn't she so cute???

The other project is from Brianna who made the Petal Dress!  

It turned out PERFECT!

She made a size 6, using McCalls M6197 - A for the bodice, and changed the neckline.  

She also made a 72" sash and wished it was longer...

She enlarged the petals 1/4" and used about 4 yards of material.
