My friend and I ran across this little tutorial on how to make felt shamrocks on Pinterest.
Totally easy and totally cute!
I raided my felt tub (it's overflowing and I can't snap the lid on) for every green colored felt known to man, added a stem and decided to make some garlands with them...and a few ornaments for our "Lucky Tree"
To make the ornaments for the spray-painted gold (metallic) sticks, held in place by my spray-painted golden nuggets in a vase, I just hot glued the shamrocks to a 4 inch piece of green ribbon, folded in half.
(and obviously, just hot-glue-gunned the shamrocks to a long length of ribbon for the garland...i love it! We don't have much in the way of St. Pat's day decorations around here, so I'm excited to increase my stash a little this year.

Your "source" under the first pic leads to a questionable site...Just fyi. :)
ReplyDeleteI like the stems you added. Super cute!
WEIRD! Thanks so much for telling me. That is indeed where we found the picture originally, however now, it's no where to be found, and there is some questionable thing on there. Thanks so much for bringing that to my attention! I hate not to give credit where credit is due...but I have no idea where to tell you we found that picture. Sorry! "source" has been removed!
