I really love Valentine's Day. I love how excited my kids get for this fun little holiday.
But this year I wanted to do something a bit different.
She loves my cardigans that I pretty much wear every day... So I thought I would make her one... with a Valentine's twist!
Yes, oversized heart pockets.
She loves them.
If you don't have time to make one for Valentine's Day, you can omit the pockets- it doesn't really matter.
This cute little cardigan is a pretty quick project- it is identical to the mommy-sized one I made.
I made the pattern so it can be long sleeves (make it out of a repurposed sweater or sweater knit) or 3/4 sleeves for a spring/summer/fall cardigan made out of jersey.
Here is the pattern (Size 5-6)

Materials:
About 1 yard of knit fabric
Scrap of contrast knit for pockets

Follow the tutorial here to make the cardigan, just ignore the band measurements. The band measurements for this cardigan are written on the pattern.
To apply the pockets:

Super cute and easy enough to make! Thanks for sharing!
